Knights of Columbus Panther Valley Council #17300
Panther Valley Council #17300 joins the 15,900+ local councils of the Knights of Columbus across the United States.
OUR MISSION
We are Catholic men building a bridge back to faith.
There is much good and necessary work to be done in this world,
and that’s what Knights do every day.
Panther Valley Council #17300 joins the 15,900+ local councils of the Knights of Columbus across the United States. Local councils are the basic unit of the Knights. Based out of St. Joseph’s Parish, Council #17300 will work to assist with the needs of its community consistent with the principles of the Order, evaluating the needs of the community and implementing those programs and activities that are most needed in the area.
Founded on the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent? To bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Today, Father McGivney is being considered for sainthood.
